Mr. Draft is First Industrial's executive vice president of operations. He is responsible for overseeing all day-to-day operations of the company. He has over 27 years experience in real estate brokerage, sales, leasing and asset management. Previously, Draft was managing director for the Company's central region. Prior to joining First Industrial, he was principal of Draft & Gantos Properties L.L.C., a Western Michigan industrial real estate firm. Before co-founding Draft & Gantos, Mr. Draft was associated with Western Michigan's two largest industrial development firms: First Real Estate, Inc. and Robert Grooters Development Company where he held the top management position at both companies, acting in the capacity of chief operating officer. Mr. Draft began his career in residential brokerage. Mr. Draft is a licensed real estate broker and member of the National Association of Realtors and the Michigan Association of Realtors. Mr. Draft attended Calvin College with studies in business administration.
