Mr. Clayton is First Industrial’s in-house corporate legal counsel. He assists First Industrial in all aspects of its legal affairs and coordinates with the Company's outside counsel on securities, real estate and other legal matters. Prior to joining First Industrial, he was an associate with Paul, Hastings, Janofsky & Walker LLP and Cahill, Gordon & Reindel, both in New York, where he practiced securities, merger-and-acquisition, and general corporate law. Mr. Clayton earned his Bachelor of Arts from the University of South Carolina and his Juris Doctor from the University of Virginia School of Law.
